I am so proud of Jasmine for being the first Singaporean to win the AMF World Cup in Mexico recently, by beating the defending champion Ann-Maree Putney in the final.
Jasmine finished two pins short of a perfect game in the end. It is her first major itle win after being the national champion in 2005.
She is only 20 years old and studying media and communication in Singapore Polytechnic.
Tao Li , on the right in the photo, was also winning her 100m butterfly in the last leg of the Fina/Arena World Cup series over the weekend.
