Here are the photos of the remaining days of my Japan Alpine Tour, enjoy please.
The main highlight of the tour is the snow corridor in Tateyama Mountains as it is opened to the visitors only once a year, around May.
Our next destination should be Hokkaido... sometime next year, like July..?
This blog is to record and share news on my family & I. Occasionally, some thoughts on recent news in the papers but nothing political or pornographic though. Hope you will enjoy reading my blog as I am doing it for you. Thanks for reading my blog and feel free to give me your comments, if any.

Japan Alpine Tour Photos ( Day 1 to 4 )
My family and I have enjoyed this trip very much as we love Japanese food and are intrigued by their country and culture. This is our first trip to Japan and it definitely, will not be the last trip there.
I have enjoyed taking about 1,600 photos with my Canon DSLR camera and here are some selected images that I would like to share with you.
Hope you enjoy the online photo album.
( I just watched a National Geographic documentary on their professional photographers and how they selected the handful of photos for publication. Their photographers are taking like about 2,000 to 4,000 photos for just one article....!!!
I suppose with the digital media format, this is much easier but then post processing is a huge challenge for the editors.
I reviewed my 1,600 images and selected about 300+ that I would considered as my final chosen images but it was fun as photography is my hobby. )

Making our own Soba Noodle for Lunch in Nagano, Japan
In our itinerary, it was indicated that lunch would not be provided on Day 6 of our Japan Alpine Tour.
But in reality, we were taught to make our own Soba noodle and the restaurant staff would then cook it for us.....!
It was difficult but fun and indeed an interesting experience.
Enjoy the video below and if you have problem viewing it, pls go to YouTube directly:

Making our own Takoyaki Lunch in Osaka, Japan
On our first day of arrival, we were taken to this small restaurant to make our own Takoyaki lunch and it was quite an experience and fun too, of course.
Jas likes Takoyaki and has been eating them in Singapore.
Here is a video of how we made our Takoyaki lunch with a few still photos too.

Japan Alpine 7D5N Tour
We went for a Japan Alpine tour for 7 days and 5 nights and returned home safely last weekend; landing at Osaka and taking off from Tokyo.
It was indeed a memorable holiday as we last went on such a tour in Korea about 5 years ago.
We have never been to Japan so we were really intrigued by the history and culture there, not to mention the food too!
I took about 1,600+ photos and still spending time to review them to a 1st cut of 300+ photos , thanks to my happy trigger fingers and digital media which make it so simple compared to those days where we used negative films. A few videos too...!
The main highlight is walking along the highway flanked by the 16m high snow walls, as shown in the photo below.
Anyway, I will be making more postings on our Japan Alpine trip so stay tuned.......!
